I was the assistant director on Witness for the Prosecution directed by Lucy Bailey. I directed first and second covers as well as watching and noting the show weekly throughout the 6 month run. Produced by Rebecca Stafford and Eleanor Lloyd with Josh Mathieson as associate director written by Agatha Christie.

‘Sinners’ at The Playground Theatre
I assisted Brian Cox on Joshua Sobol’s play ‘The Sinners’ staring Nicola Ansari and Adam Sina. This was the English debut of ‘Sinners’ which is about a woman in an unnamed country who is buried up to her neck, about to be stoned for adultery. We managed to stage every performance of this before the COVID 19 crisis but future life for the show was put on hold.

Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre
I was the staff director on Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre at Blenheim Palace for their Summer Season 2019. I was responsible for preparing understudies for all four shows as well as maintaining the shows after Press Night. I was also responsible for directing the Young Performers in the company.

‘Maydays’ at The Other Place RSC
I assisted Owen Horsley on David Edgar’s play ‘Maydays’ which was a new version of his 1983 production. I assisted on the production through out the rehearsals and the run of the show, including rehearsing a semi-integrated BSL performance. I also worked with Owen Horsley and Simon Wells (designer) to create a timeline of events mentioned in the play for the foyer of the theatre.

The Mentor Bath Ustinov and Vaudeville Theatre
I was the assitant on The Mentor staring F Murray Abraham when it started at Bath Ustinov theatre and then when it transferred to The Vaudeville in the West End. This was the UK premiere of the Daniel Kehlmann’s play. As well as maintaining the production I was responsible for casting and rehearsing the understudies for the West End run.
