I started directing film in 2020 when we transformed the stage show of ‘FCUK’D’ into a short film ‘JUMP’ and since then I have been directing music videos and short films, recently also shooting and editing my own work. I love exploring non-naturalism on screen and finding ways to embrace theatricality. I am always looking to read scripts and am particularly interested in comedy.

Early Morning Run
Lorraine risks stealing a precious early morning run. The only time she feels safe and free.
I shot, edited and directed this short film written by Geraldine Alexander.
Post production finished at the end of 2024 and we plan to share the film in 2025.

I directed JUMP (2021) by Niall Ransome, an adaptation of the play ‘FCUK’D’ which we took to Edinburgh Fringe in 2018. Produced by Luke Dale for 505 Films who was also Director of Photography and staring George Edwards.

Citizens’ Richard III
I worked with AnyWhichWay theatre company to turn months of rehearsal they had done over zoom into a 12 minute film. The company formed during lockdown in 2020 and is made up of a group of recently graduated actors and the director Geraldine Alexander, together they worked on their own version of Richard III. ‘Citizens’ Richard’ is a version created by Geraldine Alexander with additional written responses from the company and reframes the story to centre the citizens, bringing in the experience of life in lockdown. The actors all filmed themselves at home on iphones - a snapshot of theatre making during lockdown.
